After years of reading about Rochelle Krich‘s character Molly Blume playing mahjong with her sisters, I was glad I could learn how to play when I visited my family in Hong Kong last month. Mahjong is a popular game there and there are stores which specialize in mahjong sets. You choose the color of the tiles and their size and the shop assistant assembles a set for you.

If you saw my entry for Ruby Tuesday two days ago you might remember that it featured a small street store. Here is now a photo of the lady who works there. The shot is a bit blurred as I took it very quickly; I didn’t want the woman to feel she was being observed.

This is the tower where my brother works, the 2 IFC in Hong Kong. It is also a reflection on my life at the moment: everything seems too big and towering.
