  1. It’s interesting to compare classrooms in different countries. For instance, here in Israel, there are also two students per desk (unlike in the US), but most classrooms don’t have their own projectors.

    • The newest thing in U.S. Jewish day schools seem to be smartboards. All the schools like to show off their smartboards… I appreciate the teachers that are smart enough to make these gadgets useful to the class.

    • Concerning the projector, I am in a room that has one since I requested it in June. The deputy head knows I am going to use it so he agreed. Apparently smartboards are mor useful for younger students (in language classrooms) but, who knows, I may use it in the future.
