Sweet and Sour Salmon

1lb salmon, cut into small portions (2″x 2″)

1 onion, thinly sliced
1/3 cup sugar
1/6 cup vinegar
1/2 cup lemon juice
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/3 cup raisins

Combine everything in pot, except fish. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat. Add fish a piece at a time, cover and cook on low 8-10 minutes. Serve hot or cold.

Like Asian Salmon, this recipe was found on Elisheva Blogs, a blog which no longer exists. I still wish to thank Elisheva for her wonderful and tasty recipes.

  1. I never thought I could crave fish so early in the day, but mmmm, that has my tastebuds tingling (even whilst I am munching on dates!).

    It’s a shame that the blog no longer exists…
