The latest edition of Jpix, hosted by Leora, is up. Make sure you check the beautiful photographs of the Fall Holidays Edition.
Frume Sarah is hosting this week’s Haveil Havalim – Welcome to Tevet.
This door, photographed last August, is the main entrance to Verona’s synagogue.
Window Views: window, and now doors, from all over the world can be found on Mary’s blog.

That’s a beautiful entrance. Sigh – I have door envy!
I like the pre- announcement – need to finish it up and schedule JPIX for midday my time (so evening your time).
Someone had a lot of money to put that door together. It’s much more ornate than most synagogues I’ve seen. But the welcome above the door is familiar and inviting.
I knew I’d be busy today so I thought that pre-announcing was better than nothing. I’ll alter it now that JPix is definitely up.
Thank you for updating the link so fast! Nice to have it when the others visit for Window Views.
Exactly what I thought. All the more of interest for the visitors as you feature photos.
What a lovely photo of the beautiful and ornate synagogue door. It is welcoming to look at…and I feel a sense of warmth from the visual.
It’s amazing how much details they put into the doors of houses of worship. Oh probably to appear to be more inviting to people.
I have posted a cathedral door (side door) as well.
Happy holidays.
Beautiful ornate door and detail in the arch around it! Stunning!
What a beautifully carved wooden door with a ornate detailed arch!
Hugs and blessings,
That is really gorgeous! Well found!
