  1. “Christonormativity” – what a word.

    I liked “A Calendar That Keeps People Guessing” – next Chanukah starts in November, I was told by one of my sons. Then we get two Adars, so Pesach is late.

    There are some wonderful Chanukah songs. In Hebrew. Too bad so few Jews speak the language.

  2. A word I don’t think I’ll be dropping into conversation any time soon – only imagine trying to remember what it means and explaining it coherently!

    As a soon-to-be-Jew (did you know that?!!), I have really noticed the omnipresence of Christmas this year. Doesn’t it just get everywhere?
