Our cosmos–some planted and many welcome volunteers (they reseed profusely)–survived the first frost two nights ago, and are still waving their delicate fernlike foliage and airy pink blossoms in the breeze. So strange to have such a springlike flower blooming in the autumn–pink?! and delicate?! for autumn?–but we love them. Very nice capture of the airiness.
