Red Sign in French Village

The red sign reads: Accés interdit aux véhicles pendant les heures de classe; which as everybody will have understood means that access is forbidden to vehicles during school hours.

On Tuesdays, just post any photo you like (it must be one of your own) that contains the color RED and then link to this blog.

  1. Love how the road slopes down into the village. Once again, your views of a French village remind me of parts of America that used to be in French hands (northern upstate New York and Quebec). So picturesque.

  2. There is a charm in this village that we do not see in the northeast US. A village that looks as it may have 100 years ago (less the paved roads and auto, of course). Beauty that endures!

  3. This reminds me of the small village I lived in while in Germany for 2 years…except the signs were auf Deutsch! It has that same timeless quality — Lovely memories cascade back. Thank you!
